01 Executive Overview
Week 10 centered on two development tracks: improving product-led prospect discovery and communication choices in the Cold Calling Agent, and modernizing the Bwp Pos mobile application by moving from Flutter to React Native. Both efforts aimed to make existing product capabilities more practical for users while keeping the mobile and web experiences aligned.
02 Cold Calling Agent: Product-Based Search in Autonomous
I implemented a product-based search path within the Autonomous experience. Instead of beginning with a broad prospect list, the user can start from the product they want to promote and use that context to guide lead discovery. This makes the targeting stage more relevant to the business offering and creates a clearer connection between the product, potential customers, and subsequent outreach.
03 How Product-Led Discovery Fits the Workflow
The updated experience links product selection or product information to prospect search, followed by review of the resulting leads and a choice of outreach method. Keeping discovery and communication as separate stages is important: identifying a potentially relevant company should not, by itself, send an email or WhatsApp message. The flow is designed around deliberate user choices before contact.
04 Email and WhatsApp Outreach Options
I added Email and WhatsApp as communication methods within the outreach experience. This gives the user more flexibility when choosing how to contact prospects, rather than relying on a single channel. The available method can be selected according to the outreach use case and the contact information available for the lead.
05 Company Email vs. Personal Email
The email experience now presents two sender choices: use the company email configured for the business, or use the user’s own email. This distinction is valuable for teams that communicate through a shared company identity and for users who prefer to send from their individual account. The interface needs to make the selected sender clear so the user understands which identity will be used for outreach.
06 Cold Calling Agent: Engineering Considerations
Product-led search introduces a responsibility to preserve useful context from discovery through messaging. Important considerations include relevance of search results, contact data quality, clear channel selection, and avoiding unintended outbound actions. The implementation described here covers the requested workflow changes; this report does not claim production sending, external provider verification, or live-delivery results that were not supplied.
07 Bwp Pos: Flutter to React Native Migration
The second project was Bwp Pos, not HireRosterly. I converted the existing Flutter mobile application into a React Native application. This is more than a visual rewrite: it involves rebuilding the application structure, navigation, screens, and reusable UI patterns in the React Native ecosystem while retaining the purpose and recognizable user journeys of the original product.
08 Bwp Pos: Bringing Web Changes to Mobile
After the React Native conversion, I implemented changes from the Bwp Pos web application in the mobile app. The objective was to reduce differences between platforms so mobile users can access an experience consistent with the evolving web product. This work required translating web behaviors and layouts into patterns appropriate for smaller touch screens rather than copying desktop layouts literally.
09 Cross-Platform Design and Development Lessons
The migration highlighted the importance of separating business behavior from platform-specific presentation. Web and mobile can share product requirements, but their navigation, spacing, interaction patterns, and responsive constraints differ. React Native provides a basis for continued mobile development while web-to-mobile synchronization helps prevent feature drift.
10 Challenges and Practical Decisions
Two themes shaped the week: relevance and consistency. In Cold Calling Agent, product context needed to flow into lead discovery and channel choices without confusing research with sending. In Bwp Pos, the challenge was rebuilding a Flutter application in React Native and then adapting recent web changes to a mobile interface. Both required attention to workflow continuity and clear user-facing options.
11 Week 10 Outcomes
Cold Calling Agent: product-based search was added to Autonomous; Email and WhatsApp choices were introduced; and the email sender can be selected as company email or the user’s own email. Bwp Pos: the mobile app was converted from Flutter to React Native, then updated to reflect web application changes. These are the implementation milestones reported for this week.
12 Next Steps and Reflection
The natural next steps are to verify the end-to-end product-search-to-outreach experience, check sender identity and channel behavior with configured integrations, and review Bwp Pos mobile screens against the current web workflows across device sizes. Week 10 reinforced that useful software improvements are not just new features: they connect user intent, interface choices, and consistent experiences across platforms.
